While I was at USC I was a Research Assistant in the Interaction Lab working at the center of Robotics, AI, Design, and People. Over the years I have had worked on automated proxemics for mobile robots, socially assistive robots for elderly people and children with autism (we even made a movie about it), and computational design methods for generative robot design. Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to present my work internationally, judge and review for prestigious venues and companies, and gain an invaluable new perspective on work and the potential for improving the quality of life for many through technology products.
Much of this work has been published in a variety of peer-reviewed venues and can be found here. Google Scholar is also pretty decent at keeping up with publications because sometimes I’m not. My academics are covered more in “Academics”. :)
